Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF) began as the campus ministries of the Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society (JEMS) in the Fall of 1972 as JEMS Campus Bible Studies. In 1977, the name AACF was introduced and first utilized by the group at Cal State Long Beach. AACF is a ministry geared to reach Asian American students on college and university campuses. The fellowship desires to serve Jesus Christ on these campuses by reaching the 95% of Asian Americans who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. AACF provides a space for students to grapple with the understanding of God in their lives, as well as explore the opportunity to serve their fellow students as they live out the life of Jesus while on campus.
